PBS Conference Testimonial

Recently, we heard from a pastor who attended a PBS conference in Peru in 2001. He shared about his work in an unreached part of Peru and that he now has 5 preaching points. He stated how the PBS Conference and books are helping him so much in his work. There are hundreds and hundreds of stories just like this faithful man in Peru. Please keep praying for pastors who have attended PBS Conferences in the past and those who have yet had the opportunity and blessing of being a part of Pastors' Book Set project.

Francophone PBS Encouragement

We are encouraged by the fundraising that has occurred for the Francophone PBS, but have seen a slow down in funding due to the global downturn of the economy. However, we serve a great and generous God so let's keep praying that these funds will come in. Also, please lift up the missionaries who are preparing for these conferences. Ask the Lord to give them strength, encouragement and fresh vision.

Scripture in Audio Format

SIM has a vision for the entire Bible to be made available for the many language groups with which we work. Several audio devices provide the New Testament, but no one has included the Old Testament. Pray that the Lord would give vision in this endeavor.

Financial Blessings for Literature Projects

We received encouraging news from SIM headquarters recently. Significant donations were given to both the Francophone PBS and the LABC. These contributions bump the Francophone PBS up to 49% funding and the LABC to 27%. We thank the Lord for these generous donations.
