The Needs of Francophone Pastors

Pastors from French speaking African nations face many challenges while tending to the needs of their Church. These weekend pastors farm the land during the week and only get time to study their Bible at night by the light of a lantern.

They have no formal seminary education, and basic Christian study books would take 2 months of their salary.

SIM's Vision

SIM wants to provide a basic reference library of Christian Study Books to Francophone pastors in several African nations. The educational systems in these countries are primarily in French; therefore, the books provided to these ministers will also be in French.

SIM's Plan to Help

A lack of affordable literature is one of the greatest problems for the evangelical church in Africa. The Francophone Pastor’s Book Set will be an ongoing project providing pastors in these developing countries with a basic reference library of Christian study books.

In previous projects, pastors have seen the great difference these books have made in their ministries. Through these pastors countless people have heard a more precise and biblical presentation of the Good News.

The Book sets will be distributed through conferences where the pastors will participate in three days of teaching, preaching and fellowship together.

With Your Support

The Pastors’ Book Set Project brings together economy and efficiency in a unique way. It is a matching fund project in which the pastors involved pay half of the expense ($60) and Christians from around the world provide the balance ($60).
