Cote d'Ivoire and French PBS

Thank the Lord that the war in Cote d'Ivoire has concluded and life is returning to normal after such a long time of turmoil. There are 5,000 books sets that are to be shipped to this important country. The book entitled Reconciliation will be particularly appropriate for this context. Please pray that the Lord would lead in the decisions that need to be made for the PBS project in this war-torn country.

And They Are Off . . .

Ten Containers of books for the Francophone Pastor's Book Set have shipped from France and on the waters. Thank the Lord for the European volunteers who journeyed to the South of France to help pack the books for shipping. Please pray fro safe arrival. Also, please pray for the successful journey of the paperwork and books through customs.

Excitement is Building!

Wow! All of the books for the Francophone Pastor's Book Set will arrive in the warehouse in France by this Friday!! Volunteer groups have come together to begin the packing process which will take place April 15 - May 6. I am leaving on May 2 for France to roll up my sleeves and assist with the packing. Thank you for your continued prayers as we move closer to holding the conferences that will distribute the book sets to 18,000 pastors in French speaking Africa.

Creative Fundraising for the Francophone PBS

I recently received an exciting opportunity to promote the Francophone Pastor's Book Set. Within the book set is a children's book entitled, The Jesus Storybook Bible, which has received high marks by many people that I know. A local church bookstore asked to advertise the sale of the English version of The Jesus Storybook Bible and with every purchase a donation of $2 will be used towards providing a French copy for the the French PBS. What a wonderful way to help cover the cost of the book set!

A Great Set of Books

Praise the Lord for the books we have ordered for the French PBS set (project #99644). I think this is one of the best sets we've ever been able to put together. It is exciting to see the Lord at work in such a powerful way. Please continue to pray for the funds still needed to make this project a reality! We have received over 50% of the funds needed but we still have a long way to go.
